A fast growing travel technology company is looking for an experienced Head of Data. This person will be responsible for bringing critical insights to different challenges of the Company such as business planning and financial modeling, targeting customers, marketing optimization, demand forecasting, profitability analysis and pricing and more.
Key Responsibilities
- Creating a detailed business analysis, outlining problems, opportunities and solutions for the Company;
- Analysis of financial and operational data & forecasting to help the Company make better-informed, data-driven decisions;
- Business planning: cooperate with the executive team to develop annual business plans, on-going updates, scenario analysis;
- Streamlining and improving of internal and external reporting;
- Helping senior management team improve and maintain operational efficiency and increase organizational productivity;
- Cooperation with the marketing team to develop predictive models and behavioral analytics;
- Assistance in formulating and testing hypotheses & developing and communicating recommendations.
Qualification:
- Master’s degree (Math, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Physics, Engineering)
- 5 years of relevant work experience in BI/BA;
- 2 years of work experience as a Head of BI/BA (Optional);
- Fluent in English;
- Ability to work with dashboard and visualization software such as Tableau, Power BI, D3, Mixpanel, Flurry or Google Analytics;
- Working knowledge of SQL is a plus;
- Solid understanding of corporate finance and financial statements is a plus.
