We are now seeking an experienced leader to scale and manage this global sales team as we continue to expand.
The Global Director of Inside Sales will be responsible for scaling, optimizing, and leading a large, distributed sales organization of travel agents specializing in Direct-to-Consumer (B2C) sales. This role requires proven experience managing hundreds of inside sales representatives, building high-performing teams across multiple locations, and delivering exceptional consultative sales for high-value transactions. The successful candidate will possess exceptional leadership skills, a sharp strategic mindset, and a track record of achieving ambitious sales goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Scale the Inside Sales organization to hundreds of representatives while maintaining high performance and quality standards.
- Build and manage sales teams located outside the US to serve US-based customers effectively.
- Oversee the sale of high-value transactions with a consultative approach that builds trust and long-term client relationships.
- Set and monitor sales targets, KPIs, and SLAs to ensure consistent revenue growth.
- Manage a distributed sales team worldwide while ensuring alignment with the needs of US customers.
- Foster a collaborative, results-driven culture across diverse locations and time zones.
- Provide leadership, mentoring, and training for sales managers and representatives.
- Develop succession plans and nurture future leaders within the organization.
- Optimize sales processes, tools, and workflows to enhance productivity and efficiency.
- Collaborate with product and technology teams to improve platform capabilities and agent performance.
- Work closely with senior leadership to align sales strategies with overall business goals.
- Partner with Marketing, Operations, and Finance teams to ensure cohesive execution and budget alignment.
Key Qualifications:
- Proven success in scaling and managing sales teams of hundreds of inside sales representatives in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in selling high-value transactions with a consultative approach to customer relationships.
- Ability to manage global sales teams located outside the US serving US-based customers.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, train, and develop high-performing sales teams.
- Sharp strategic and analytical thinking to identify opportunities, solve challenges, and drive results.
- Experience working with culturally diverse teams across different geographies.
- Familiarity with travel sales processes and systems is a plus but not mandatory.
